Melissa Barlow is a Los Angeles–based heels dancer, choreographer, and creative director known for her signature fusion of power, precision, and unapologetic femininity. Originally from the United States, Melissa began dancing at just two years old, training competitively throughout her childhood and becoming an undefeated national champion for six consecutive years. She quickly distinguished herself not only as a performer but as a choreographer, creating her own award-winning solos from an early age.

Her foundation in rigorous classical training under a Russian ballet instructor shaped her discipline and technique, but her path evolved when she entered the commercial dance industry in Los Angeles at 18. She expanded into hip hop and performance, working with major artists including Justin Bieber, Black Eyed Peas, Tyga, J Balvin, and Quavo. At 21, she went on to open her own dance studio in Chicago, where she built a nationally recognized competitive team.

Melissa later found her true artistic voice in heels, developing a style that blends sensuality, storytelling, and commanding stage presence. She is now an internationally recognized heels instructor and the creator of the global movement “BaddieLanguage,” a brand built on the belief that confidence is a feeling, not a look.

Through her Baddie Language World Tour, Melissa has traveled across multiple countries, teaching and performing for dancers around the world and building a strong international community of women connected through empowerment and self-expression. Her classes and events have reached cities across Europe, North America, South America , Asia , South East Asia , United Kingdom , Australia & more continuing to expand globally each year.

Her work also extends into large-scale creative projects, including choreography and performance direction tied to Eurovision-related productions alongside her husband and creative partner. She has also appeared on television, including Romania’s “The Ticket,” further establishing her presence as both a performer and creative force.

Today, Melissa continues to travel globally, teach, perform, and create, with a mission to empower dancers to move with confidence, intention, and fearless self-expression.
